<li>1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black      pepper</li>
<li>1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne</li>
<li>1 pound sweet potatoes,      scrubbed and peeled, if desired</li>
<li>1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil</li>
</ul>
<p>Directions</p>
<ol>
<li>Preheat oven to 250F.</li>
<li>Combine salt and spices in      mixing bowl.</li>
<li>Slice sweet potatoes      paper-thin and toss lightly with oil. Toss potatoes with spice mixture      until evenly coated. Arrange potatoes on wire grates sprayed with nonstick      vegetable spray or on baking sheets fitted with parchment paper.</li>
<li>Bake for 2 hours, then turn      off oven and let potatoes dry for 2 more hours or overnight. Alternately,      dehydrate sweet potato slices in dehydrator according to manufacturer’s      directions.</li>
</ol>

<p>I always get a pizza craving and this certainly satisfies it!  Don&#8217;t knock it until you try it!</p>
<p>Ingredients for crust:</p>
<ul>
<li>3 cups cooked cauliflower (do not overcook &#8211; grate or chop fine)</li>
<li>3 cups low fat mozzarella cheese + 1 cup for the pizza topping</li>
<li>3 eggs</li>
<li>1 tablespoon of Italian or Pizza seasoning</li>
<li>1 15 ounce can of pizza sauce (make sure it is a healthy one by checking the label)</li>
<li>Plus toppings of your choice.  Use anything you would normally put on a pizza, just be sure any meats selected are 90% lean.  My favorites are: green peppers, onions, mushrooms, banana peppers.</li>
</ul>
<p>Directions:</p>
<ul>
<li>Preheat oven to 450 degrees</li>
<li>Spray sheet pan with PAM or line with non-stick foil</li>
<li>Combine cauliflower, cheese, eggs and Italian or Pizza seasoning and press firmly into pan.</li>
<li>Bake for 15-20 minutes until edges begin to brown and crust is firm to touch.</li>
<li>Remove crust from oven, set oven to Broil.</li>
<li>Spread sauce over entire crust and add toppings.</li>
<li>Top with additional cheese.</li>
<li>Broil just until cheese is melted.</li>
</ul>
<p>DELICIOUS and very heart healthy!</p>

<p>Have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is?  Have you ever felt that you wanted to make a difference?  Our mission is to help improve the obesity and diabetes epidemic in our country.  What’s more important than your health?  Absolutely Nothing!  Not your business, not your boss, not your children.  When you lose your health….Everyone Suffers!</p>
<p>Our Purpose with the <strong>Healthy for Life™</strong> program and the <strong>Shrink-A-Thon™ </strong>program is to educate on the importance of the achievement and maintenance of a healthy body weight through the adoption of increased healthy eating and physical activity. Our mission is based on the scientific evidence that obesity is not just an appearance problem; it is a condition that can lead to serious disease. Obesity is associated with five of the ten leading causes of death and disability in the United   States &#8212; heart disease, some forms of cancer, type II diabetes, stroke, and hypertension (high blood pressure). By clearly defining obesity as a major public health issue, we are conducting a broad-based education initiative to encourage sensible eating and increased physical activity in all individuals and a modest weight loss in overweight individuals that can be maintained over time.</p>
<p>My Vision is to help 100,000 people and more have better health which in turn will make for healthier and happier individuals and families.  It is also my vision to raise cash for charities, which is much needed in these economic times.  The combination of increasing our health and raising money for charity is definitely a win-win situation.</p>
<p>My Philosophy is that each one of us is empowered to control our own personal health and quality of life through our daily choices. It is estimated that 70% of our health care costs are related to lifestyle. We believe that disease risks can be reduced, vitality can be improved, longevity can be enhanced and health care costs can be minimized through positive lifestyle choices.</p>
<p>With the soaring rates of obesity in this country, especially among children; we need to change our paradigm. Two-thirds of our country is considered overweight and/or obese, perhaps it is time to change our thinking and therefore our results. Participating in a <strong>Healthy for Life™</strong> program or a <strong>Shrink-A-Thon™</strong> program, signals that you are serious and ready to take action. For some this issue is a matter of life and death.</p>
